DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Sonora Chiming Hall Clock No. 33-84" tall clock, 8 days, time, strike and Westminster chime on 8 bells with selector for silent / hour strike / chime, three weight driven No. 84 movement with patented Sonora bells and box in a mahogany case with beveled glass trunk door, broken arch pediment and No. 443 pierced, silvered and etched superior dial with moon phase and raised applied numerals, c1910
CONDITION: this clock has been in storage for several years and needs a complete overhaul. The movement has oxidation and the case will need tender loving care to restore. The pendulum needs a rating assembly and suspension spring. The clock is complete and very rare and will make a stunning presentation when restored. Note Seth Thomas 1909 catalog indicates this model with "Highest Grade Movement No. 84" Ht 98"
